A PERSPECTIVE BUILT THROUGH EXPERIENCE
A caregiver’s perspective on the moments that shape patient care
Janine Stange’s perspective on healthcare was shaped during her mother’s battle with stage IV breast cancer, where she experienced firsthand the pressure, uncertainty, and emotional weight that often surround healthcare decisions and family communication.
From chemo appointments to hospice, she witnessed the lasting impact every nurse, technician, physician, and caregiver can make—not only in major medical moments, but in the everyday interactions patients and families never forget.
That experience reshaped her understanding of what it means to truly show up for others under pressure.
In the years that followed, Janine launched a mission to perform the National Anthem in all 50 states—an experience that placed her in unpredictable, high-pressure environments where decisions had to be made in real time and momentum had to be created without perfect conditions. The journey gained national media attention and later became the subject of the documentary National Anthem Girl, now streaming on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.
She is also the founder of Janine’s Team, a nationwide community dedicated to honoring aging veterans through personalized birthday and gratitude cards—ensuring their stories, service, and sacrifices are never forgotten.
Today, Janine brings that perspective to healthcare audiences through a practical, repeatable framework that helps professionals communicate clearly, stay present under pressure, and make confident decisions in moments that matter most.
